The Spa-Francorchamps Circuit has been the setting for a thousand-and-one fantastic and heroic stories since the 1920s.
\nOver the years, the beaten earth track has evolved into one of the most modern Formula 1 circuits in Europe.<\/p>\n
As a result, the Francorchamps circuit has been successful at hosting a number of the racing calendar\u2019s most prestigious events, including the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Francorchamps.<\/p>\n
The most famous feature at the track is the Raidillon. This unique corner was dreamt up by the owners of Spa-Francorchamps back in 1939. The Raidillon, located close to the nearby Eau Rouge, has acquired a great reputation among drivers, who revere and respect it in equal measure.<\/p>\n
Durbuy is an unbelievably charming little town not far from Sy-Ferri\u00e8res. The style of the town, situated on the fast-flowing river Ourthe is typical of the Ardennes.
\nLittle Durbuy is also one of the biggest tourist attractions in Wallonia. Every year, this wonderful mediaeval town, known as one of the smallest in the world, attracts many thousands of tourists.<\/p>\n
The town itself consists of numerous tiny picturesque streets and has a population of some 400 residents. The vast majority of the local residents live in one of the lovely villages in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n
Be sure to go and see the Homalius rock while you are there, better known as \u201cRock of Falize\u201d. This rock has a typical inverted U-shape and is more than 300 million years old. The summit of the rock is also the highest point of the town.<\/p>\n
While you are in the Durbuy area, also make sure you visit the villages of W\u00e9ris and Ny (both of which are absolutely among the most beautiful villages in Wallonia), caves of Hotton, Modave castle, the Ozo goat farm, the chocolate factory at Defroidmont \u2013 and many more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
